Founder, Facial Paralysis and Bell’s Palsy Foundation
Dr. Babak Azizzadeh is a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who is deeply committed to the treatment of individuals with facial paralysis and Bell’s palsy. He is board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. His expertise in facial plastic surgery has made him one of the most sought-after surgeons in the country. He has been featured in The New York Times, Discovery Health, and numerous other media for his work in the field.
A graduate of UCLA’s School of Medicine and a former Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Azizzadeh is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at UCLA School of Medicine, and is a facial reanimation surgeon at the House Clinic’s Center for Facial Nerve Function. He is also an attending surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is currently the Director of the Facial Paralysis Institute in Los Angeles, CA.
In addition to his busy surgical practice, Dr. Azizzadeh is also involved in several humanitarian causes. Besides founding the Facial Paralysis and Bell’s Palsy Foundation, he works with Medical Missions for Children, traveling to third-world countries in order to treat children with cleft lip and palate disorders. He is also involved with the Reconstructive Surgery Program of the ROSE (Regaining One’s Self-Esteem) Fund, a national non-profit organization committed to ending violence against women and children.
William H. Slattery III, MD
Dr. William Slattery II works in private practice at the House Clinic in Los Angeles, CA. He is also Director of the Clinical Studies Department at the House Ear Institute and serves as Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Southern California. He is board certified by the American Board of Otalaryngology, and received his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Dr. Slattery’s research interests include treatment of acoustic neuromas, facial nerve disorders, and Neurofibromatosis Type-II. He is an author and co-author of numerous papers, and has been quoted in multiple lay publications including Newsweek, Wall Street Journal, Business Week and Prevention Magazine, and has been featured on television programs including the Discovery Health Channel.

Teresa England is a distinguished physical therapist with extensive expertise in neuromuscular re-education of facial disorders, and works frequently with patients suffering from facial paralysis. She is a current member of the prestigious House Ear Clinic Facial Nerve Team, and is also the Director of England Physical Therapy in Garden Grove, CA. She is a graduate of Pacific University School of Physical Therapy, and also received her Post-Professional Masters in Physical Therapy at Loma Linda University,
